As teachers, we know our first job is to learn; and learning from our customers is just as important as learning from our peers. Our History. ACR Computers 16 year history has its root in serving large government and institutional clients. We specialized in design and implementation of large-scale support systems. Projects of that time ranged in scope from an on-site service contract for a school system, with over 12,000 components to training teams of federal law enforcement officer to manage world-class database management systems. We specialized in putting technology to work, just as we do today. In 1994, we redefined our mission to serve the general public and all sectors of business. A retail oriented service center was built adjacent to our downtown DeLand, Florida corporate headquarters. In 1999 we completed construction of our new corporate headquarters at 1205 S. Woodland Blvd. The expanded facilities provided ample space to house centralized administrative, sales and service departments. Our organization has become Central Florida's largest servicer of computer systems with a client base that has grown to many thousands of businesses, institutions, and individuals from our five county primary market area.
Our Mission. PROFICIENCY THROUGH TECHNICAL COMPETENCE. From the beginning our strategy was to gather the brightest minds and acquire the experience and resources to support today's leading edge technologies. To continue this mission, we travel to the worlds leading expositions of computer products to research directly, engineer to engineer, which products will serve our customers with the best performance, and the highest reliability.
